Wine description
Cassis, earth and graphite notes were mixed with mocha and toast on the nose. Very deep though, and quite lovely. Palate was rich, with tons of cassis, along with more graphite, some herbs and a toss of earth, all nicely balanced. Decent length, nice flavours of cassis, green pepper and some smoky coffee ground.

The wine's fruity notes and moderate acidity balance the richness of the lamb.
Cheese
The fat and salt content in cheese pair perfectly with the acidity and tannins in wine.
Seafood
The wine's subtle tannins pair beautifully with the sweetness of the seafood.

Great value for this price specially knowing that the woman doing this wine is the daughter of a very high respected wine maker in Bordeaux. Great job for the price

The perfect balance of acidity and tannins
Charming wine! Aromas of black plum, smoke, and black currant. To be decanted before drinking. Paired it with game and sauce and it’s perfect.

Delightfully drinking experience
Very nice wine. Nice balance. Medium body. Nice notes of dark fruit, oak, leather and vanilla. Velvety tannins with medium to making finish. Pairing with tuna carpaccio was outstanding

Bordeaux Libournais Red
Bordeaux Libournais are Merlot-based blends, with juicy red fruit, smooth body and subtle tannins.
Wines from the Libournais can be powerful, but tend to be softer and smoother than wines from the Left Bank, which are typically Cabernet Sauvignon dominant.
While not a distinct appellation itself, Libournais refers to the Right Bank of Bordeaux, including the esteemed appellations of Pomerol, Saint-Émilion and Fronsac, where plantings of Merlot dominate.
